At MP Locums, whether you are an experienced fully qualified doctor or newly qualified and completing your foundation year 1 and 11, we'll do our utmost to find
you the position best suited to your values and work ethic.

Registering With Us

To enable us to help you find work quickly and get you into a placement we need certain information from you. The information you provide is in strict confidence and will not be used for any other purpose in line with the Data Protection Act.

Please complete our Online Registration Form and email the following attachments or call us to let one of our team help you gather the information:

  • A copy of your CV*
  • A copy of your GMC Certificate
  • Proof of qualifications and training, including post graduate qualifications
  • Proof of Identity: photo card drivers licence or passport with two recent utility bills
  • Contact details of two referees
  • Record of immunisations
  • Recent CRB disclosure (less than 12 months old)
  • Evidence of eligibility to work in the UK where applicable
  • A copy of your passport for ID purposes
  • National Insurance number
  • Pathology report that includes the Hepatitis B & C status with titre levels
  • 2 passport size photographs for identification purposes (signed on the back)
  • Confirmation that you have read our staff handbook and terms and conditions

*Your CV must detail as a minimum the previous 10 years’ continuous employment history (if any and as appropriate) including, but not limited to, any previous or current employment or engagements with other Framework Agencies or recruitment agencies and explanations for any gaps in employment of more than 3 months and evidence of all previous, relevant training undertaken.

During a Placement

We will confirm your placement through Email or post. Our administrator will look after you and will supply you with all the information you need:

  • the name of the person you will be reporting to and the name of the person you are covering, if appropriate
  • written confirmation of the date(s) and details of the placement
  • We will provide you with company ID which we ask you to wear at all times during your placement
